Random acts of fitness are creative ways to fit exercise into your life every day. It is also a chance to add some fun into your workouts so you don’t dread doing them.
Random acts of fitness will look different for each person. For my husband, its chopping wood for our fireplace. For me, its taking a quick walk to clear my mind. For others it might be taking the stairs, parking in the furthest spot at store, or playing with your kids at the park.
When you enjoy exercise, you are more likely to succeed in improving your health. Exercise is fun! Don’t dread it. Find something that you enjoy doing and turn it into some kind of exercise. Be creative and you can make activities that you already do into ways to improve your health.
I call our 17 stairs to the second floor my fitness program. With my bad memory I forget what I went up for, come back down, remember, and go up again!
